TIA Launches Freight Leadership Lab at 2026 Capital Ideas Conference
Alexandria, Va. – (October 21, 2025) – The Transportation Intermediaries Association (TIA) today announced the launch of The Freight Leadership Lab, a new certification program designed to equip rising brokerage managers with the leadership skills and business acumen needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving supply chain landscape.
The program will debut in April 2026 at the Capital Ideas Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, before continuing with virtual and in-person modules throughout the year.
Through six interactive modules, participants will master strategies in team leadership, financial management, problem solving, ethical culture building, persuasive communication, and coaching for high performance, all tailored specifically to the freight brokerage industry.

The program features instruction from seasoned industry experts, including Eileen Dabrowski (Apex Tide Consulting), Alex Fritz (CFO, NT Logistics), Daniel Ilg (President, Ilg Logistics), Mike Riccio (More Than Miles Consulting), David Abell (President, A.M. Transport Services), Georgette Hunter-Franklin (Director of Learning & Development, MODE Global), and instructor, Jim Kenny, PhD.
