Meet Nick Patrick, CEO and co-founder of New York-based Radar. Nick and Coby Berman founded the company in 2016.

Tell us about what your company does:

Radar, based in New York, NY, is the all-in-one location platform with geofencing, maps, and geo-compliance all in a single cost-effective platform. Companies like Panera, DICK’s Sporting Goods, T-Mobile, and Zillow use Radar’s software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs) to power location-based experiences across hundreds of millions of devices worldwide.

What makes your company stand out?

Radar is the only all-in-one location platform. Logistics companies no longer require multiple vendors to support geolocation use cases. Whether for delivery, fleet tracking, live ETAs and arrival detection, routing and optimization APIs, fraud detection, or workforce management, Radar can handle it all at a fraction of the cost compared to alternatives.

What TIA features drew you in? What do you hope to gain from your membership?

Interacting and connecting with leaders in the logistics community was a big draw. We want to generate awareness for Radar and help TIA members save money on their location initiatives.

What does the future look like for your company?

As more and more companies adopt our geocoding, routing and location tracking APIs, we passed 1 billion API calls per day, and we’ve achieved that while maintaining high privacy, security and reliability standards. Over the next few years, we plan to continue our expansions, adding international geocoder coverage and going into new industries like gaming.
