Tell us about what your company does:
I’m Jorge Garcia Tunon, the CEO and co-founder of Sworkz. We’re focused on making staffing as seamless and efficient as possible, particularly for businesses in the logistics and transportation industry. Our mission is to connect the right talent with the right opportunities, helping companies grow and succeed. At Sworkz, we’re not just filling positions—we’re building a company that understands and meets the needs of both employers and employees, creating lasting value for all involved.

How did you enter the 3PL industry/what is your background in the industry? What excites you about the industry?
My journey into the 3PL industry began with a passion for solving complex business challenges. Before founding Sworkz, I spent years consulting across various industries—automotive, technology and logistics. During that time, I recognized a significant gap in the logistics sector for tailored staffing solutions. I spent five years consulting with a 3PL company, focusing on strategy, growth and go-to-market tactics. The 3PL industry is vital to global operations, and I wanted to bring a fresh perspective by combining my entrepreneurial drive with a deep understanding of workforce management.
What excites me most about the 3PL industry is its constant dynamism and its crucial role in keeping the world connected. Every day presents new challenges, and being part of an industry that’s essential to everything from global trade to local deliveries is incredibly fulfilling. We all saw the impact on the world when supply chain bottlenecks occurred. It’s a fast-paced environment that fills me with energy and a sense of purpose, making each day fly by.
Why did you join TIA? What do you hope to gain from your membership?
Joining TIA was a natural step for us. It’s an incredible opportunity to connect with professionals who share a passion for the 3PL industry. The chance to learn, share, and grow with this community is what attracted us, and I’m eager to see where this collaboration leads.
I’m particularly excited about the networking opportunities and the relationships we can build with other TIA members. There’s a wealth of knowledge and experience within this group, and by sharing insights and learning from each other, we can drive the industry forward together. The webinars and other resources available on the TIA website have already provided me with fresh perspectives.
Through TIA, I hope to gain not only knowledge and insights but also lasting connections with other leaders in the industry. I believe that collaboration can lead to greater achievements, and I’m looking forward to seeing how Sworkz can both contribute to and benefit from this dynamic community.
What was your company’s greatest achievement this year?
This year, we were thrilled to see the impact of our innovative global staffing solutions, with a 90% candidate-role compatibility. This improvement has led to greater client satisfaction and more fulfilled employees. Fueled by this success, we’ve experienced double-digit growth and recently opened a new office in Bogotá, Colombia.
What goals do you have for the future of your company?
Looking ahead, our goal is simple: continue growing and improving. We aim to expand our services, refine our services for maximum efficiency, and strengthen the relationships we’ve built with our clients. Ultimately, our success is reflected in the success of those we work with, and we’re committed to making a positive impact.
