GOOD NEWS! The FMCSA Portal is Back Online!

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) has brought back online services for updating your registration information – including biennial updates and address changes – which were temporarily paused to add extra security (multi-factor authentication). Forget the hassle of paper forms and long delays – NOW YOU CAN DO IT ONLINE! What used to take over 30 days to process by mail can now be done in minutes!
Here’s what you need to get started and set up your FMCSA Portal account:
- Login.gov email address: Click here (If you already have a Login.gov account, you can link it to your FMCSA Portal account).
- USDOT PIN: Click here (Retrieve your USDOT PIN via email in SAFER. PIN #’s are now available via text or email.)
