- The Rise of Passkeys: Passkeys, a more secure alternative to traditional passwords, will gain significant traction. As technology addresses usability barriers, individuals and organizations will increasingly embrace this stronger form of authentication.
- The First $25 Billion Cyber Incident: A single cyberattack could inflict unprecedented financial damage, underscoring the critical need for robust preventative measures.
- Global Push for Secure-by-Design: There will be a global movement to prioritize security in the development of products and services. This approach will help mitigate vulnerabilities and reduce the impact of potential breaches.
- Addressing the Cyber Workforce Gap: Organizations will focus on equipping their entire workforce with the necessary skills and tools to protect digital assets. This will involve expanding cybersecurity training beyond technical teams.
