Grassroots Digital Advocacy: Powering TIA’s Voice on Capitol Hill

Share

TIA is proud to announce an exciting milestone in our grassroots advocacy efforts: nearly 800 members and industry stakeholders have now registered to stay engaged with TIA’s digital advocacy campaigns! This marks a significant step forward in amplifying the voice of the 3PL industry where it matters most, on Capitol Hill.

Why does this matter? Because real change begins when 3PL professionals take action. Digital advocacy allows the industry to speak with a unified voice on issues that directly impact your business, employees, and the families in our communities. Congress needs to hear from everyone on issues that impact our livelihoods, supply chain, consumers, and the communities we serve. With just a few clicks, you can send a powerful message to your elected officials and help shape your future and that of the entire transportation and logistics industry.

Ready to make a difference? Here are three simple ways to get involved:

1. Send a Letter to Your Elected Representatives

Visit TIA’s VoterVoice campaigns to engage in key issues such as strategic fraud and cargo theft. Your voice matters—help us keep these critical topics at the forefront of policymakers’ minds.

2. Engage on Social Media

Use your platforms to amplify our message! Tag your Member of Congress on Facebook and X/Twitter, and urge them to support and co-sponsor HR 880/S 337. Social media is a powerful tool for raising awareness and showing lawmakers the strength of our industry’s voice.

3. Meet with Your Elected Officials

Direct engagement with lawmakers is one of the most effective ways to advocate for the 3PL industry. TIA helps members connect with elected officials through in-person, virtual, and in-district meetings—especially during congressional recesses. These meetings are powerful opportunities to share how policies impact your business and build lasting relationships with decision-makers.

Save the Date: The 2025 TIA Policy Forum is September 15–17 in Washington, D.C.—your premier chance to meet with lawmakers and advocate for the industry.

Together, we’re driving the industry forward—one message, one meeting, one member at a time.
